After naps, we headed to the Schlosspark Biebrich Park which also has a castle. It is a very pretty area near the Rhine River (which is where Lillie touched it last time we came & made the Wiesbaden news... they were doing a story on how people were staying cool in the heat... a bit of a different story this trip!) We walked around for a bit, played on the frozen over pond, checked out the castle, and played on the playground for few minutes before returning to the car to thaw out.
There were tons people playing on the iced over pond with skates, sleds, and their own feet (as we did). It was fun watching all the Germans break the rules.
The sign below says: Caution! Don't walk on the ice.
The girls on the ice - Lillie said she wanted to ice skate... it was the best we could do. She practiced her ballet on the ice.

The castle: Lillie said, "That's the castle... ohh." ...a very disappointed ohh. We all laughed out loud at what a snob she sounded like... because she had seen so many castles before this trip!
