On Saturday, we headed over to Pittman's house to attend the High Point Parade. This is our second year to attend and probably the most exciting part of the parade is the firetruck "sprinkler" at the end. The firemen turn the hose on and let it "rain" on the kids. Again this year, Lillie was not a big fan of it spraying on her. She did enjoy playing in the puddles but not the hose. She was able to get Daddy to go walk a little closer with her and then she proceded to push Daddy into the hose but refused to go in it herself. Hopefully, next year she will be a little more adventurist and check it out for herself or at least with a friend.
Lillie chilling in the wagon!
Annie was so pumped about the parade this year!
Playing in the water!

After the parade, we headed back to the Pittman's for a cook out. It was wonderful to spend time with great friends - we've been kind of out of the loop lately!

Lilile especially loved getting to play and ride with Mary Chase.
