The week that was May 27th - June 2nd was extra busy with Memorial Day activities and wedding festivities! So busy that this will be two separate updates.
1. Sunday afternoon/night we went out to the Redbirds Stadium with our Community Group. It turned out to be a great evening with good friends. The girls... well we all had a blast. It was a much needed change of pace.
A few of the kids...
... a few of the adults.
Playground fun!
Some of the lovely ladies: Lillie, Katie, Lauren, Meg, Maddie, and Caroline!
The lovely ladies with Mr. Chuck!
Annie being a little jealous - and now a little silly because I was holding little Tripp.
Maddie did a great job taking this picture!
Some of my favorite ladies: Lindy with Tripp, Katie with Peter, and Emilee
The little ladies - Myra, Gracie, and Annie
2. Memorial Day!
Started the day off with Memorial Day Pop Tarts
Then we headed to the Thomasmeyers' Pool for a wonderful day. The girls had a blast! They spent six hours in the pool with friends. We had a great time too relaxing in the pool and hanging out with friends.
3. Tuesday, took a little recovering on everyone's part. Annie fell asleep in our bed after being up for a couple of hours. She climbed up there while I was organizing the laundry, I went and started the laundry, and then I came back to find one knocked out little 2 year old!
4. On Wednesday, Annie wasn't feeling well so we had a bit of a lazy day which included lots of book reading, cuddling, and lounging on the couch. It also included lunch "in the other room" which both girls always enjoy.
Love my cuddle time with Annie!
Sweet Lillie
5. Annie has found a love for puzzles! She gets really excited and says "Yea!!!" a lot!
On Thursday, I packed up the girls and headed for Batesville where we were meeting the Irelands. We were meeting to drop Annie off for the weekend in preparation for Lillie being a flower girl. I snapped these with my phone on the way down. They were sucked in by "Lady and the Tramp".
They got crowns in their happy meals at Burger King which of course is a huge hit with my girls!
6. Lillie and Mommy time!
We made it back in town just in time to see "Mirror Mirror" at the movie theater. Lillie seemed to enjoy it. It was a different version of the Snow White story - a more enjoyable story in my opinion! After we came out of the theater it was pouring down. Luckily, we were at Wolf Chase so we were able to kill a little time at different stores and then finally I was conned into some ice cream and a carousel ride.
Wedding info is coming up on the next post.
