The Week That Was June 10th - 16th

The Week That Was June 10th - June 16th was another busy one for the Ireland house hold with another round of VBS and swimming lessons plus a canoe trip on the Ole' Mississippi!

1. Week 2 of Swimmng Lessons - Annie decided she needed in on the fun! She is naked because she hopped right in with her clothes on so what were we to do!?!

Lillie did a great job and she is so proud of herself. She is so much more confident and is really enjoying her time in the pool. We are so proud of her!

She loves to practice floating!

2. My beautiful, precious, so loving little girls! They bring so much joy to our little family!
I love them so much!

3. Wednesday night, our church had a VBS picnic dinner filled with hotdogs, icees, cotton candy, and moon bounces! The girls had a great time with all the events, foods, and their friends.

Annie... are there words?? :)

Annie on top of the big slide... with a little help from Mr. Tim.

Not sure if this will work!?!?
Annie is expressing her love for avocado and wanting more of it!

4. On Thursday, I was picking up Annie and she got in some of the VBS decorations and said, "Look Mommy! I'm in the shower!" Loving this age!

5. On Friday, a friend of ours brought her dog in that little white/blue bag. Annie and Gracie were pretty excited to check the little guy out!

6. Friday, Tropical Smoothie was giving away free Jetty Punch smoothies for a charity that sends terminally ill kids to camp. The girls love eating at the "smoothie place!"

7. Saturday morning, Jeremy was out so I took the girls to the Farmer's Market and then to Gibson's for donuts! Another big hit with the girls!

8. Saturday afternoon, Jeremy got done early so we took the girls downtown. The river guide that lead Jeremy's canoe trip this past fall was giving free canoe rides on the Mississippi. Lillie has been asking to go in a canoe with Jeremy since he went in October. The girls did pretty well. We rode in a canoe from the Harbor Town River front, under the "M" bridge, around Mud Island, to the Mud Island dock. I think it was just enough time for their first ride and Annie has asked to go again several times!

Getting ready! Life jackets on!

I took these pictures with my phone that was in a plastic bag so sorry for some of the glares!
Lillie on the River!

The girls entertained themselves playing the home made drum and splashing in the water.

Heading back to the car!

The girls had so much fun!
