Last Saturday, we took the girls to the Zoo for a quick trip. It was a beautiful day and the girls didn't even need their jackets that they are wearing. This was the only picture I got of the girls. Lillie was not to cooperative but thought this one turned out ok so here it is. We saw the Tigers, Lions, and other cats, Giraffes, Zebras, Elephants, and then headed toward the Sea Lions show. Apparently, Jeremy had never seen it. It was a shorter show and the big guy was not there but he still got the idea. We then got a quick peak of the ice rink - the Memphis Zoo has opened an ice rink for the winter months - and then headed out.
We then headed toward Broad Avenue. Broad is hoping to become an up and coming Art District in Memphis and they were having a trial run during the weekend. I didn't get any pictures there but it looked like a great turn out. I guess we will just have to wait see what comes of it. We went and visited with our friends who had a store front to promote their art.
