Maine 2009: Day 3

After we got moving on Sunday, we headed over to the Walker's to meet up with some of the cousins to go visit Grammy. We were able to spend a couple of hours with her. Jeremy and I hadn't seen her since Janna's wedding - 3 years ago and his brothers hadn't seen her since 2001. We were especially excited to introduce her to Lillie, her great granddaughter. We have a picture but Donna has it on her camera. Once, I get it I'll add it on here.

I do have one of Lillie playing with Erin while we were visiting with Grammy. She was "trotting to Boston" with Erin.

Grammy's home was about 5 minutes from the Canadian border so we decided to head across to get our passports stamped. Jeremy was excited to get Lillie's passport stamped with another country so to Canada we went. It took us 20-30 minutes to get in, we drove to the visitors center took a couple of pictures, got back in the car, and went back to the USA. We had a slight hiccup getting back in because we didn't have the car rental agreement but he warned us next time to make sure we had it and let us back in. We had a big laugh about the sign on the way back into the States. In huge letters it said MAINE: the way life should be!

We ran by our condo to get a couple of things. Lillie was pretty antsy since she slept all of 15 minutes for her nap. The condo had a little playground that they checked out.

Then we headed back to the Walker's. Donna wanted to take a picture of all the great grand kids. The two older girls - Kacy (6) and Bri (5) are Jessica's little girls; Lillie (21 months) is obviously Jeremy's; and the baby, Derek (5 months) is Janna's son.

I took this picture for Mrs. Ireland - I think she has a picture of her boys on these rocks.

I also got a few pictures of Lillie with baby Derek. She was so excited about the baby. She talked about him all day while we were gone. When they were leaving, she threw a fit and refused to say "goodbye" in hopes they wouldn't leave. Finally, she came to her senses and said "goodbye" and even gave him a kiss.
