This past Friday, we left early for Maine. It was a full day of travels - 2 1 hour 1/2 flights stopping in Detroit before landing in Bangor. Lillie did pretty well. I think she enjoyed spending time with Josh and Tim and the fact that we were on a plane!
While we were waiting for the rental car shuttle, Lillie started playing around and realized she could move a non-smoking sign. We were shocked because it looked so heavy but it was deceivingly light! She would just giggle and giggle when she would pick up the sign. She was so proud of herself.
After getting our rental car, we headed toward Island Falls. We visited with the Walker's while they were putting some finishing touches on the reception tent and then headed to our condo to get settled in. We went to the Walkers for dinner. While we were there, the girls were getting ready for the big day by painting the finger and toenails. Apparently, Lillie felt like she needed to get in on the festivities and had hers painted. I was amazed. She sat there the whole time without moving while Erin painted both her hands and feet! I couldn't believe how still she was during the whole process. Erin was great with her! She was very proud to show Daddy and everyone else her pretty fingers and toes!
