Saturday we went to Starkville for the Houston Game. My uncle Mark went with us and we met Tim for the game. We had a great time. We left Memphis around 7:30 and made it to Starkville in time to spend some time around campus. Luckily, it never rained. However, Friday night before we left we got her some rain boots just in case. I was afraid it would be too cool to be sitting in the rain the whole game like last time. It stayed cloudy and cool but definately not unbearable. It didn't get too cool until the second half so we were able to stay warm during the game. Lillie did great at the game. Most of the row we sat on was empty so we were able to spread out and have some extra room. She really seems to enjoy all aspects of the game. She was a little upset when the band went back to their seats. It was homecoming so they didn't really perform but played the same song over and over again while the girls walked through them. She only had one major meltdown which brought out the passie and daddy's lap. We really thought she might crash for a second but it didn't last.

She made it the whole game thanks to the little guy sitting in front of us. She quickly made friends with a little boy with a foam finger. Apparently, after we talked a bit he had two younger sisters, one was a Lily too, at home. He was sweet with her so they played the last few minutes. Definately bummed about the outcome of the game but over all we had a great time - and no rain! That is always a plus.
This picture is actually from 9-19-09 but I thought it was cute and didn't have much else to say so I thought I would stick it in with these. She loves ringing her cowbell! :)
She is sweet! It must be fun for you that she enjoys the games so much. And never ever underestimate the power of the passie!!!
