1. Easter Sunday - He is Risen!
Sunday we went to church to hear a great sermon and beautiful music. Our church sang "Hallelujah!" from Messiah for the benediction. I do believe it is one of my favorite songs. It gives me chills every time I hear it!
2. Easter at my Grandparents
After naps we headed over to my grandparents for our annual family Easter Egg Hunt and dinner. The girls were very excited - partially because Mikey was siking them up for some fun!
Mikey holding them back from the Egg Hunt!
And they are off...
... Mikey found his basket... not sure which one is more excited Mikey, Lillie, or Annie!

3. On Friday, we headed to the Broad Ave Art Walk. It was a great evening, the weather was excellent, we ate some yummy food, and saw some great art. We also got to visit with Hillary ( http://hillarybutler.blogspot.com/ ) and David Butler (can't find David's website) and see their skills!! They have some amazing talent!!
The girls excited about their grilled cheeses and seeing Ms. Hillary!
Our silly girls! Annie's new "cheese" face!
This picture made both Jeremy and I laugh. It is such a typical Lillie face. Apparently, she was tired of waiting for our dinner and didn't appreciate me taking her picture to kill sometime.
The Memphis Art Students had a screening booth that they let the girls participate in. They both enjoyed picking out their pictures and their colors. Lillie was so pumped about her unicorn!
Annie had to have a turn too!
Lillie and Annie got to paint a few of Hillary's business cards for others to take along. They both loved getting to paint with the big brushes!
Broad Avenue
4. Saturday night we went to see the Redbirds play. We first headed to our usual place for dinner, Flying Fish, and then walked down to the game. The weather was GORGEOUS!!! We had a great time relaxing, watching the game, and hanging out with some good friends. We will definitely be making it to a few more games before it gets too hot.
Starting line up and Anthem
I was holding Annie during the Anthem and trying to explain why and what to do. She did pretty well. I thought it was so sweet I tried to get a picture...
... and then she realized I was trying to get a picture. Love this little girl! (And look she still has her hand on her heart!)
Love these guys!
It took all of 3 pitches before the markers came out! My girls are obsessed with coloring!!
Pop Rocks Contest - in the 2nd inning the stadium was trying to get in the Guinness World Records book by having the most people eat Pop Rocks at the same time. It was quite an experience for everyone - especially trying to explain them to the girls! Definitely have to say, they were not as enjoyable at 31 as they were at 11 and they were STICKY!!! They were sticking to everything!! I guess it was the moisture in the air but we were picking those things off the whole rest of the game!
The clapping song. I don't know what it is called but the dude comes on and says, "Everybody clap your hands, clap, clap, clap, clap, etc." They all enjoyed playing along, so much so they stopped eating their cookies to participate.
