Last weekend, we headed down early to Starkville for the La Tech football game and some tailgating with Tim, Josh, and Birgit. The weather really worked out for us to walk around and enjoy our day on campus. The girls had a blast checking it all out and enjoying the fun. This was Annie's first trip to a football game so she got to try a lot of new things. She really seemed to have a great time!

Annie's first STATE ice cream... cookies and cream! Tim took us to the Engineering Tent for some free ice cream! MSU makes their own ice cream, milk, and cheese among other things.

The girls did very well for not sleeping all day. Finally, Annie gave up and fell asleep for about an hour in our arms. She was out! She slept on our shoulders as we walked around and into the stadium. Then Jeremy took her and she slept like that for awhile - while the band marched in and the next and upcoming rapper yelled into the loud speakers. I even took her for awhile without her waking up.
