Annie's 9 months old!

Annie is 9 months old!! Not quite sure where the time has gone but she is into everything and curious about everything. She is a busy and always watching. It is still so amazing to me to watch them figure things out.

Annie and Lillie are so much fun to watch. Annie plays this tickle game with Lillie - that Annie always starts. She will come over to me and start giggling and trying to get me to pick her up. Then Lillie will come over and tickle her and Annie just laughs and then she tries to get Lillie and Lillie laughs. It is pretty hilarious!
Annie finally got her first tooth! This was about a week after her 9 month birthday - the snow day. I think her other bottom tooth is already starting to work its way up too! She is now starting to eat finger foods too. She would have nothing to do with them until that tooth popped through. Now she is willing to try anything on her tray. It doesn't always stay in her mouth but she is at least putting it in her mouth now instead of throwing it on the floor.
No real steps yet. Still standing whenever possible but not letting go except to grab onto something else. She is really taking off walking when you hold her hands. I'm sure it won't be too long. She's got to keep up with Lillie and all!
Other milestones - that I can't remember if I wrote them down.
1. Clapping - she started clapping on our anniversary - Dec. 19th
2. Waving - within the week of clapping she was waving. It is so cute. You can really see the wheels turning and she gets so excited!
3. Figured out the sippy cup - 1/15/11 - couldn't get enough it!
Dr. Visit & Measurements: Annie's appointment went well. He said she looked perfect. Annie still loves the paper on the table (the complete opposite of Lillie). She gets so tickled by it. She would crawl down to one end and then lay out on it like she was giving it a hug and then she would crawl down to the other end and do the same thing. It was hilarious. She was giggling the whole time too! It definitely made the wait go quicker. She also found the baby in the mirror (herself). She kept waving to the baby and trying to kiss herself. It too was hilarious to watch, she would go to kiss herself and then get surprised when she hit the mirror but then was ok because it was something new to "chew" on it. She's so much fun! :)
